Project, team and partners

About

The project, people and partnerships behind The Grenfell Curriculum.

Project

Why it was developed

Many teachers recognise the importance of teaching about Grenfell but feel underprepared to do so. This project provides practical support so schools can approach difficult material confidently, safely and responsibly.

Project framing

The work is shaped through community-engaged research and sustained partnership with people directly affected by Grenfell, alongside educators and researchers.

It treats Grenfell as both a human story and a case of systemic injustice.

Project aims

  • Support accurate, sensitive and respectful teaching about Grenfell.
  • Develop community-informed educational principles and resources.
  • Provide free teacher professional development.
  • Build an open repository of reports, guides, lesson resources and policy outputs.
  • Contribute to wider conversations about disaster education, memory, justice and curriculum.
